Painter of the Year - 2004

Over the course of a year we have posted well over a thousand new photos. These come from the many contests. Starting with 2004 we thought it would be good to recognize the "Painter of the Year". This page represents the best of the best. Any person identified by a photo on this page should be proud of simply making it to this page. You have done some amazing work and we recognize your contribution to face painting in the world and particularly on the SNAZAROO photo pages.

In order to be included in this particular contest you must have received a first, second or third place in one of the photo contests THAT CLOSED DURING 2004. In addition, we add all of those photos that held the crown as a King or Queen in our elite contest the "Face-Off". In the Face Off contest you must have actually held the crown. Your photo would be posted even if you only held it for a short amount of time. As you know, some of the contests can take more than one year to complete all of the photo posting. For example in this year's contest there are some photo pages that were opened as early as 2002 but completed during the year 2004. That is the key. In order to be considered your photo must be a top three place in a contest that closed during the year. Children's contest winners are not included.

We will continue this process at the end of 2005 and subsequent years. So think about the open photo contests that can be found at http://www.snazaroo.com/photos.htm and submit your top designs for consideration. All other guidelines as found at http://www.snazaroo.com/faqphotos.htm apply. First through fifth place winners will receive certificates of accomplishment. Note: only one certificate per person in this contest. In the vote tally, if one individual actually placed first and third, the third place winner certificate would go to the individual that received the sixth highest vote count.
