Painting Rainbows,
Balloons and Unicorns - Photo Contest 2005
Way back in one of the very first contest we covered this subject (in 2002). We have tossed all of the old photos and are now going to start from the beginning. We are looking for cheek or full face designs (no body painting for this contest). Simple designs on the body, like those painted on an arm are acceptable. What we are not accepting is large designs like those painted on someone's back. We want designs that are more considered mainstream for the typical painting environment. You contribution must stick with any one of the three noted themes. These three topics all are common requests by children. We all have seen duplications of the unicorn design in the popular Creative Face Painting Book. If you send in a similar design it MUST CONTAIN NOTED DIFFERENCES or it will be rejected. PLEASE try to be CREATIVE here. Also do not think you can send in three little balloons on the cheek and it be accepted. You need to be more creative than that. Also... we will limit the single unicorn head painted on the cheek to a count of five, no more than that. We want to see some fresh new ideas. We will hold this contest open until we receive 30 photos. Contest closed June 2005.

When you submit photos for any contest they will remain posted. Any changes in text or removal of photo at a later date requires a $5 administration fee.
Other rules.... read this carefully!
1) You may not enter any photo that you have entered before
2) You may not use acrylics or any non-FDA approved face paint in any form. You are otherwise
allowed to use any FDA compliant face paint.
3) If your photo is very fuzzy or out of focus it will not be entered. There is no excuse
here because we are willing to scan the photo(s) for you.
4) Do not take your photo from 20 feet away. Get as close to your art work as possible. We
want to see the art not your entire living room.
