One Stroke - Contest - 2008
“One stroke” painting was made famous by Donna Dewberry with her painting on wood with acrylics. This popular art form can also be used in face painting. You can achieve this by either double loading your brush or sponge on multiple cakes of make-up or with multi-colored make-up cakes, like those sold at SNAZAROO. Below you will find four photos sent in by Rebecca of www.artybrushstrokes.com you can use her photos to guide you in your face painting for this contest. All designs should be face painting and using at least two colors in your “double load”. No body painting for this contest. We will accept 40 photos for this contest with a maximum of five photos from any one person. PLEASE think ORIGINAL. We do not want all the photos to be butterflies and flowers. If it is not an obvious multiple-load design then your photo will be rejected. All other rules apply at www.snazaroo.us/faqphotos.htm .

When you submit photos for any contest they will remain posted. Any changes in text or removal of photo at a later date requires a $5 administration fee.
Other rules.... read this carefully!
1) You may not enter any photo that you have entered before
2) You may not use acrylics or any non-FDA approved face paint in any form. You are otherwise
allowed to use any FDA compliant face paint.
3) If your photo is very fuzzy or out of focus it will not be entered. There is no excuse
here because we are willing to scan the photo(s) for you.
4) Do not take your photo from 20 feet away. Get as close to your art work as possible. We
want to see the art not your entire living room.
