Children 15 years
old and younger - 2009
This contest is for youth to show us their work. We will accept entries painted on arms, backs etc as well as cheek art but we are really looking for full face designs. Although we do not expect the same standard as in the other standard contests, we are still looking for a reasonable standard. For example, if the photo does not pass the "what is it" test, CLEARLY, it will be rejected. It must hold the basics of face painting standards in terms of base, design and line work. We encourage the submitter to show the photo to several other people and ask them to tell you what the photo represents BEFORE you submit it. We understand that rejection can come hard for younger children. It is better for the adult to sort it out on the home level before it is rejected at our level. The true purpose of the photo pages are to give POSITIVE ideas to others. We will not post a photo by a child just to make mum, dad or grandma happy. YOU MUST ALSO give the age of the child as this can be taken into consideration when the voting starts. Parents may opt to give the child's first name only or give the full name and only the state or country where the child lives. This is totally at the discretion of the parent. With the submission of these photos, it is assumed that they have the parent permission for posting. WHEN YOU SUBMIT A PHOTO MAKE SURE YOU GIVE THE AGE OF THE ARTIST. Upload photos via www.snazaroo.us/upload.htm
We will limit the number of photos sent in per painter as follows...one photo per child per month to a maximum of six per year. There will be certificates to the top three winners.
We are not going to limit the total number of photos but we will close the entry of photos on Dec 31, 2009 (with a minimum of 15 photos). Questions specific to this contest should be sent directly to photos@snazaroo.com
