Indian Princess

On the current round of contests there are no beginner categories, however we will post the age of children under 17 so you can take this into consideration during the voting process. Mama Clown has thrown in some juicy prices that I'm sure you will really want. As always, you can send in your photos by e-mail electronically or you can drop them in the regular mail and we will do the scanning for you. The deadline will be the end of April. After that, we will start doing monthly contests. Everyone can post entries in these contests. ONLY TWO PRIZES MAXIMUM CAN BE RECEIVED BY ANY ONE PERSON AND ONLY ONE MAMA CLOWN VIDEO CAN BE WON BY ONE PERSON. For example: If one person just happens to win first and second place in all three contests that person can only win one 1st prize and one 2nd prize. We want to spread the prizes around. All prizes will be given out but the "excess prizes" will be given to the next person in line during the vote process. It is possible because of these new guidelines that 4th or 5th place actually receives a prize. There must be at least 15 pictures posted in a contest or the contest will continue until we have 15 entries.

contest #1 "STEP BY STEP for the beginner" You must submit at least 3 but not more than 6 photos along with color description and step by step details. The winners (and others we decide) will be added to our learning page at www.snazaroo.com/learn.htm If you want to see more information on how to do this just look at this page as a suggestion. The more steps the merrier but not more than 6. Keep in mind THE PURPOSE OF THIS CONTEST IS NOT TO TEACH COMPLEX EXOTIC FACES BUT MORE AS A TOOL FOR BEGINNERS TO PAINT SOME FAIRLY SIMPLE FAVORITE FACES. Theoretically, a beginner should be able to paint these in 5 to 10 minutes. A pro should be able to paint this same face in 2 to 6 minutes. I think you understand what we are looking for. Complex designs or air brushed designs will not be accepted. 1st prize Mama Clown's new face painting video "Putting On A Happy Face" 2nd prize 1 each of the four new SNAZAROO face painting brushes (Flat, Fine Long, Jumbo Flat and Fan) 3rd prize SNAZAROO T-shirt

contest #2 "Farm and Domestic Animals" (no cats or dogs) You may contribute full face or cheek art designs 1st prize Mama Clown's new face painting video "Putting On A Happy Face" 2nd prize 1 each of the four new SNAZAROO face painting brushes (Flat, Fine Long, Jumbo Flat and Fan) 3rd prize SNAZAROO T-shirt

contest #3 "Zoo and Exotic Animals" (no animals from the cat family) You may contribute full face or cheek art designs. 1st prize Mama Clown's new face painting BOOK "Putting On A Happy Face" + SNAZAROO T-shirt, 2nd prize 1 each of the four new SNAZAROO face painting brushes (Flat, Fine Long, Jumbo Flat and Fan), 3rd prize SNAZAROO T-shirt

Other rules.... read this carefully!
1) You may not enter any photo that you have entered before
2) You may not use acrylics in any form or an air brush in any form. You are otherwise allowed to use any FDA compliant face paint.
3) You may mail in a photo for scanning but your entry must be received by mail (or electronically) on or before May 1, 2000. No late entries will be accepted.
5) If your photo is very fuzzy or out of focus it will not be entered. There is no excuse here because we are willing to scan the photo(s) for you.
6) Do not take your photo from 20 feet away. Get as close to your art work as possible. We want to see the art not your entire living room.
