The SNAZAROO "Body-Off"
In April of 2004, this perpetual contest began. In 2006, due to the popularity of this contest, we split the contest into three categories: Faces, Bodies, and Cheek Art.
If you have an original piece of face painting that you think might pose a "challenge" to the current reigning King or Queen, then submit your photo to Gary Cole. Originality is the key! You may not submit a photo that has previously been submitted in any other contest hosted by SNAZAROO.
As of June 2009, we are no longer accepting pre-natal belly art or paintings that are simply on the back. We encourage you to enter these in the Free-For-All contests. We will allow those that are in the queue to remain and finish out the contest.
When you send in your image, it is only a submission to the contest. Gary or the SNAZAROO photo team will hand-select from the submission photos those that will pose a challenge to the current champion. As the entries come in, two challengers will be selected from the queue. Voting will follow each round, and the photo that receives the most votes will be the King or Queen. The others will drop down to the appropriate location on the page.
For this contest, please send in higher resolution images. We will crop the image for you to make it fit the standardized photo page. It is important to have a neutral background, proper focus, and proper lighting. You may not digitally enhance or change the submission. We encourage you to read the FAQ on submitting a photo before doing so.
This contest is only open to members of the SNAZAROO forum. Only members of the forum may submit a photo and vote.
When you send in your photo, include your name, location, and URL or e-mail. Do not assume we know these things about you.

1) You may not enter any photo that you have entered before
2) You may not use acrylics or any non-FDA approved face paint in any form. You are otherwise
allowed to use any FDA compliant face paint.
3) If your photo is very fuzzy or out of focus it will not be entered. There is no excuse
here because we are willing to scan the photo(s) for you.
4) Do not take your photo from 20 feet away. Get as close to your art work as possible. We
want to see the art not your entire living room.
