Ever since 2000 SNAZAROO USA Inc. has made an effort to tightening the guidelines for wholesale and distributor accounts. The purpose of this is to protect the true wholesalers and also reward those distributors that deserve the generous distributor discounts. Our purpose is to send retail customers to purchase from legitimate resellers. This web page is to define clearly the overall SNAZAROO discount strategy.

We also have policies in place to make sure our resellers can maintain decent profit margins. We do not allow the "dumping" of products on the market at low pricing by resellers. This is explained at the bottom of this page.

From time to time we find individuals with a tax id number that have been buying at wholesale that do not deserve this monetary reduction. Many of these should be referred to other wholesalers to buy at retail. Likewise, there have been those that have been receiving the 30% off of wholesale discount that do not carry the purchasing volumes required for such a large discount.
 

WHOLESALE
In order to buy at wholesale you must meet the following minimum guidelines...

1) you must buy the minimum of $ 250 per order in order to buy wholesale 
2) you must be buying the product for one of the following...
   A) resale (federal tax-id required) not for own use but to sell to others
   B) for an legal entertainment business (amusement park, family entertainment center etc.)
   Note: Being a professional clown or face painter that buys in volume alone is not justification for wholesale purchases.
3) you must provide a ONE of the following...
   A) your tax id number
   B) articles of incorporation  
4) you must provide ONE of the following...
   A) a photo of your retail establishment (a store front photo and inside your store)
   B) a copy of your published catalogue or brochure
   C) a URL location of your active e-commerce web site
   D) photos of face painting as a part of your business (not just a face painter, this must be your primary source of income),  your entertainment facility (example a Chucky Cheese, Six Flags or the like.), your haunted house attraction etc.. You need to PROVE SOMEHOW this is your business. AgainWe may require you to provide your previous years taxes to prove this is your primary source of income.
   E) If you teach face painting classes and sell products at those classes you must show a track record of such events.
5) you must provide in your first year, proof that you are promoting the SNAZAROO line of products or provide proof that you business is in the entertainment arena.
6) In order to retain your wholesale account you must do the following..
   A) in your first calendar year buy at wholesale at least $500
   B) in your second calendar year and thereafter buy at wholesale at least $1000 (if you are a reseller)
7) you must pay your invoices in a timely manner. Most lower volume resellers must pay for goods in advance by credit card or other payment.
8) understand and agree to the shipping policy as indicated at the bottom of this web page
 

Note: If you are in Mexico the minimum order for wholesale is $500US.

DISTRIBUTOR

In order to buy at the distributor discount level you must meet the following minimum guidelines...
(by doing so you may receive 30% off of wholesale pricing ON MOST ITEMS)

1) you must buy the minimum of $ 250 per order with an opening order of $2500 (after all discounts)
2) you must be buying the product for...
   A) resale
   B) for a large scale entertainment business
3) you must provide a photo or faxed copy of one of the following...
   A) your tax id number
   B) articles of incorporation or
   C) not-for-profit documents  
4) you must provide one of the following...
   A) a photo of your retail establishment
   B) a copy of your published catalogue or brochure
   C) a location of your e-commerce web site
   D) photos of face painting as a part of your business
5) you must provide in your first year, proof that you are promoting the SNAZAROO line of products or provide proof that you business is in the entertainment arena
6) In order to retain your distributor account you must do the following..
   A) place a single order in the amount of $2500 to start the distributor discount ($2500 after discount)
   B) in your second calendar year order at least $2500
   C) in your third calendar year order over $5000
   D) in subsequent years increase sales each year
   F) YOU MUST BE ACTIVELY PROMOTING THE SNAZAROO LINE OF PRODUCTS and be able to prove it TO REMAIN AT THE DISTRIBUTOR LEVEL
   G) You must buy the product in defined increments.  For example buy the individual colors in units of five. Buy the Rainbow Palettes in units of twelve. Etc.
    EFFECTIVE JULY 1, 2009 DISTRIBUTOR LEVEL CUSTOMERS MUST ORDER THE FOLLOWING ITEMS IN MINIMUMS OR AUTOMATICALLY BE CHARGED THE WHOLESALE PRICE INSTEAD OF THE
    NORMAL DISTRIBUTOR DISCOUNT.
    6 - all 3 color kits
    12 - all 4, 6, 8, 12, 14, 18, 28 color kits (including Jumbos)
    12 - all brushes, applicators, sponges, crayons, ink pads, ink refills, books
    5 - all 18ml, 30ml and 75ml individual colors, JUMBOS, gels, glitters, powders, gems, eyes, stencils, videos
7) you must pay your invoices in a timely manner
8) understand and agree to the shipping policy as indicated at the bottom of this web page

Note: If you are in Mexico the minimum order for distributor is $5000US.

NON-PROFIT

In order to buy at wholesale as a non-profit group you must meet the following minimum guidelines...

1) you must buy the minimum of $ 250 per order (at the wholesale price)
2) you must be buying the product for a non-profit group. This can be for groups like the Girl Scouts, the First Baptist Church, American Cancer Society, Lincoln Middle School or the like. You must fax in your request for wholesale/non-profit status on organization letterhead the e-mail ( admin@snazaroo.us ) or fax your order ( 972-221-8625) You should also request the link for the wholesale order form. Fax this in with your organizations letterhead of some sort. If you have any non-profit documentation or identification number that will also work. If you have a web site for your group you can use that to identify yourself.
3) you must pay your goods and shipping at the time of the order.
4) understand and agree to the shipping policy as indicated at the bottom of this web page

HIGH VOLUME PROFESSIONAL and CLOWN ALLEY DISCOUNTS

The high volume professional discount is new for 2008. With volume orders (as defined below) you can receive large discounts on SNAZAROO products. Start by downloading our retail order form at www.snazaroo.us/PDF/orderformRETAIL.pdf

If you are a volume face painter you can receive a 30% discount off of suggested retail prices. Your must e-mail ( admin@snazaroo.us ) or fax (972-221-8625) in your order. Your next order after all discounts must be over $500. What this means is you would total up your order. The gross cost would have to be over $715 at full retail AT A MINIMUM. Take your gross number and multiply it by .7 and that gives you your actual costs with your thirty percent discount. $715 x .7 = $500.50 (which is over the minimum net order of $500). If your gross order was $1000 then your net price would be $700. Goods must be paid for in advance, with shipping and all the goods must be shipped to one location. You have to mention you are wanting the professional 30% discount or it would go through at normal prices.

The "Clown 20/20 discount". In order to buy at this special discount you must be a clown organization associated with COAI, WCA or an organized clown group of some sort that can identify yourself. You can give us your COAI alley number, refer us to your organization's website or the like. With this particular discount you would normally order as a large group. You must order by e-mail ( admin@snazaroo.us ) or by fax (972-221-8625) pay in advance for goods and shipping and the order must ship to a single location. This is how we handle the great discount.... The people in your group will instantly get twenty percent off the order. SNAZAROO will match that twenty percent discount and send it back out in the form of a donation. With your order you need to clearly define where the twenty percent is to be sent by name and define the mail-to address. The donation can go back to the clown alley by name, to any charity of your choice, to the American Cancer Society. It even be sent to a particular individual that is in need. YOU GET TO SPECIFY to whom the "donation" is to be made out to and where that donation is to be sent. This is a great way to help out one in need or use as a fund raiser for your clown organization. We do not allow resellers to offer "low ball" pricing. Generally offenders of this policy will be selling online or on sites like Ebay even for small orders. This is not allowed. We allow our resellers to offer the SNAZAROO products at a discount of up to twenty percent off of the suggested retail price. The suggested retail prices are noted at www.snazaroo.us/PDF/orderformRETAIL.pdf You can sell at prices that are 80% of those prices if you wish. We monitor all pricing and if you are found selling at below this guideline we will stop selling to you at discounted prices. This even applies to resellers at events like clown conventions. You can offer discounts but they should not fall below 80 percent of suggested retail for smaller purchases. This is to maximize the profit margins of those reselling our quality products. Some sell our products on popular bidding sites like Ebay. For those sites you must either start your bid at zero, which is very high risk for you, or you can start your bid meeting the 80 percent rule. Your "buy now" price can never be below the eighty percent rule. From time to time we offer resellers LIMITED TIME PROMOTIONAL PRICING but these must be approved in writing before you post them. For example... during October you might request pricing to offer the SNAZAROO "Rainbow Palette" that normally sells for $15.99 at a price of $11.00 which is close to a thirty percent discount. GENERALLY we approve limited edition specific promotions. Our volume resellers can offer discounted prices below the 80 percent rule but it would be for volume orders, non-profit and off the internet.
